Cabanas do Castanheiro is one of the new wine producers in the Douro region, born from the Paterno Dia family's project and focused on producing high‑quality wines. Covering 17 hectares, the estate highlights plots such as Quinta dos Gambozinos, an old‑vine vineyard that yields excellent, aromatic, concentrated and deep wines. These are vinified in Xisto stone vats with foot‑treading and controlled temperatures, blending tradition with modernity.
