Originating from Bairrada, between the foot of Serra do Buçaco and the sea, Giz emerges—a wine that uniquely captures the limestone soils of its terroir. Grown from centuries‑old vines of native varieties on poor, stony soils, its production is minimal both in the vineyard and in the cellar. After artisanal vinification, the wine rests for eight months in French oak barrels, yielding a maskless, authentic, structured, elegant and complex nectar, rich in individuality and character.
