Originating from Bairrada, between the foothills of Serra do Buçaco and the sea, Giz emerges—a wine that uniquely captures the characteristics of the limestone soils from which it comes. Derived from century‑old vines and made from native grape varieties planted in poor, rocky soils, the production process is minimal both in the vineyard and in the cellar. After artisanal vinification, the wine rests for eight months in French oak barrels, yielding a nectar without masking flavours—authentic, structured, elegant and complex, full of individuality and character.
