Grand Druida by winemaker Nuno Mira do Ó. The Grande Druida Reserva Encruzado comes from a single plot of the Encruzado grape, located 500 m above sea level on the right bank of the Dão River. Granite-derived soils that are heavily clay‑laden give these grapes a distinctive character. This white wine undergoes a two‑year ageing period before release and is produced only from the best harvests. The first edition was created as a tribute to a close friend and winemaker, João Corrêa, who, together with Nuno Mira do Ó, pioneered the original Druida. Fermented using only natural yeasts in oak barrels (the sacred tree of the Druids), it is a unique wine celebrated for its complexity and personality. **Climate** – Cold, windy, humid autumns and winters; mild springs and dry, hot summers. **Soils** – Granite with clay. **Vinification** – Fermentation in French oak barrels (20 % new, 80 % used), without added yeasts. **Maturation** – 10 months in the barrels where it fermented. Bottled in July 2022 and aged in bottle since then. Allergen information: contains sulfites. SKU: 106579
