Description

Pegos Claros DOP Palmela. Produced from the area of our oldest vines, some over a century old. Grapes foot-trodden on the first day. Partial fermentation with stems in a lagar. Aged in French oak barrels of 500 litres and 225 litres. Elegant with superior complexity, offering a long finish. A wine with a pronounced gastronomic profile and great aging potential. Hand harvested and transported in small 20 kg crates. Foot-treaded and traditionally fermented in an open lagar with 40% stems. 12 months of ageing in French oak barrels. Winemaker: Bernardo Cabral.
