Made from the Aragonês, Alfrocheiro, Alicante Bouschet, and Trincadeira grapes, this 2017 vintage red wine boasts an intense ruby colour and an aromatic profile that highlights forest‑fruit and cherry notes. On the palate it is full‑bodied, hinting at a long, persistent finish. Sul Estoril is a family‑run company based in the Alentejo town of Granja‑Amareleja, producing wine under the Guadelim label since the 20th century. The vineyards mainly grow Aragonês, Alicante Bouschet, and Alfrocheiro for reds, and Antão Vaz, Arinto, and Viosinho for whites. Production prioritises sustainability and environmental protection, with vines integrated into a sustainable programme and the winery powered by photovoltaic panels. (illustrative image)
