The Herdade da Candeeira Reserva red is made from the Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Miúda grapes. The grapes were harvested at night, followed by fermentation in small stainless‑steel tanks and an 18‑month maturation in new barrels. It shows an intense ruby color, with aromas of ripe black fruits and subtle floral notes. On the palate it is fresh, velvety, and has good depth. (illustrative image only)
