Description

Infantes red wine is produced from the Aragonês, Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira, and Touriga Nacional grape varieties, harvested at night to preserve the freshness of the aromas. After partial aging in used French oak barrels for nine months, it displays an intense, concentrated ruby colour, with dominant aromas of fresh wild fruit, perfectly integrated with toasted and spicy notes from the wood. Herdade da Lisboa was acquired by the Cardoso family in 2011 and is located in Vidigueira, bringing together three harmonious branches: wine production, olive oil, and enotourism. During the 1980s and 1990s, the estate helped bring recognition to Alentejo wines under the Paço dos Infantes label, and today it boasts 350 hectares of total area, allocating 100 hectares to vineyards, 200 hectares to olive groves, and an additional 10 hectares to fruit orchards and horticultural crops, adopting good sustainable production practices.
