Herdade Da Lisboa Paço Dos Infante Touriga Nacional Rosé

Description

Paço dos Infantes Rosé is made entirely from the Touriga Nacional grape. After the grapes are selected, they are pressed whole and the must ferments for 16 days. Then the wine undergoes bâtonnage—stirring the lees—for two months in stainless‑steel tanks. The result is a salmon‑pink wine with aromas of fresh fruit, blueberry, and abundant floral notes. On the palate it offers excellent acidity, a wide range of flavours, and solid structure. The estate, Herdade da Lisboa, was bought by the Cardoso family in 2011 and is located in Vidigueira. It brings together three complementary activities: wine production, olive oil, and enotourism. In the 1980s and 1990s the property helped establish the reputation of Alentejo wines under the Paço dos Infantes label, and today it covers a total of 350 hectares—100 hectares of vines, 200 hectares of olive trees, and 10 hectares of fruit orchards and horticulture—managed with sustainable practices.
