It’s a clever move, really, designed to coax the full potential from the key grapes, notably the Encruzado and Touriga Nacional. The influence of 50% Allier oak adds a layer of elegance, but thankfully doesn't diminish the wines’ inherent expressiveness. It would pair beautifully with grilled fish or a hearty beef roast.”
