Paço dos Infantes Rosé is made entirely from the Touriga Nacional grape. After the grapes are selected, they are pressed whole and the must is fermented for 16 days. Then a bâtonnage is carried out for two months in stainless‑steel tanks. The wine shows a salmon‑pink hue with aromas of fresh fruit, blueberry, and exuberant florals. On the palate it delivers excellent acidity, a breadth of flavours and good structure. The estate, Herdade da Lisboa, was acquired by the Cardoso family in 2011 and is located in Vidigueira, combining three harmonious sectors: wine production, olive oil, and enotourism. In the 1980s and 1990s the property helped bring recognition to Alentejo wines under the Paço dos Infantes label, and today it covers 350 ha in total, with 100 ha devoted to vineyards, 200 ha to olive groves, and an additional 10 ha to fruit orchards and horticulture, following sustainable production practices.
