Born from the distinctive clay-calcareous soils of Herdade da Maroteira, this “Dez Tostões” is a bold statement from Philip Mollet, who quite daringly shifted the quinta’s focus from cork and livestock to wine – a move that, frankly, seems to have paid off spectacularly. Predominantly Antão Vaz, it offers a genuinely soulful and characterful expression of the Alentejo, and would be absolutely divine with a perfectly grilled fish or a roast chicken with potatoes.
