Founded in 1981, Herdade dos Coelheiros is a family‑run estate that has earned recognition for producing wines of undeniable quality both nationally and internationally. This tradition of excellence began with the release of the first wine, Tapada de Coelheiros, in 1991. Located in the municipality of Arraiolos—famous for its lacework that produces some of Portugal’s most beautiful traditional crafts, the renowned Arraiolos rugs—Herdade dos Coelheiros chose to honour this land’s cultural identity on the labels of its wines.
