Casa Relvas is a family‑run venture that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas. Its purpose is to carry on a five‑generation legacy rooted in a deep passion for the Alentejo and its authentic character. Over the years the family has grown alongside the business, and today the holdings cover roughly 750 hectares of montado forest, 225 hectares of olive groves and 350 hectares of vineyards—all produced under 100 % integrated farming practices. With its three estates—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about six million bottles of wine each year, of which 70 % are exported to meet the demands of the global market.
