Casa Relvas is a family‑owned venture founded in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, with the goal of continuing a five‑generation legacy rooted in a deep passion for the Alentejo and its authentic nature. Over the years, the family has grown alongside the business, and today the estate covers roughly 750 hectares of native forest, 225 hectares of olive grove, and 350 hectares of vineyards—all managed under 100 % integrated production. With its three properties—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles of wine per year, of which 70 % are destined for the export market.
