Casa Relvas is a family venture that started in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas. Its goal is to continue a five‑generation story of passion for the Alentejo and its authentic nature. Over the years the family has grown alongside the business, and today the estate spans roughly 750 hectares of montado forest, 225 hectares of olive groves, and 350 hectares of vineyards—all managed through 100 % integrated production. With its three properties—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles of wine each year, 70 % of which are sold abroad.
