Casa Relvas is a family venture founded in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, with the aim of carrying on a five‑generation legacy rooted in a deep passion for the Alentejo and its authentic character. Over the years the family grew alongside the business, and today it encompasses roughly 750 ha of montado woodland, 225 ha of olive groves and 350 ha of vineyards—all produced under integrated, sustainable practices. With its three estates – Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede – Casa Relvas can annually produce 6 million bottles of wine, 70 % of which are destined for the international market, making the house present in more than 30 countries worldwide and delivering the very best of the Alentejo.
