The Esporão company was born in Alentejo from an unyielding desire to produce the finest wines. This motivation is the legacy behind all its wines and the primary reason it has expanded its range to other products and territories. The Esporão Estate, situated in the heart of Alentejo, in Reguengos de Monsaraz, offers unique agricultural conditions – wide diurnal temperature swings, poor and varied soils, and extraordinary biodiversity that helps produce in harmony with the environment. Covering roughly 702 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, and other crops cultivated under a Biological Production Method, it now hosts around 40 grape varieties, four olive varieties, as well as orchards and gardens.
