The Esporão company was born in the Alentejo out of an unwavering desire to produce the finest wines. This motivation underpins all its wines and is the main reason it has expanded its range to other products and territories. The Esporão estate, located in the heart of Alentejo at Reguengos de Monsaraz, boasts unique agricultural conditions – wide thermal swings, poor yet varied soils, and extraordinary biodiversity that supports balanced production with the environment. Covering roughly 702 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and other crops grown under a Biological Production system, it currently cultivates around 40 grape varieties, four olive types, orchards and gardens.
