This “Curtimenta” Reserva from Herdade do Lousial is a delightful surprise – not the kind that raises an eyebrow in suspicion. Its colour hints at maturity (87 points!), revealing a blend of Syrah and Riesling with an acidity that seems to bend the laws of physics. It’s a wine that wraps around your palate with a structure that’s truly impressive, finishing with a lingering desire for more. Wonderful with grilled fish or a lighter curry.
