**Herdade do Rocim** The "Herdade do Rocim" Alicante Bouschet is an authentic wine, born from the passion of generations who have always held the land in the highest respect and affection. It is made from the Alicante Bouschet grape variety, carefully foot-trodden in a traditional stone lagar. It is aged in French oak vats. Located between Vidigueira and Cuba in the Baixo Alentejo, Herdade do Rocim has around 70 hectares of vineyards, 53 planted with red varieties and the remaining 17 with white varieties. Characterized by loamy-clay and sandy soils, the estate's approach focuses on producing grapes of the highest quality. The Adega do Rocim, a structuring element of the project, combines winemaking with the aesthetic quality of its architecture, serving as a marketing and promotional tool that enhances the region. **Winemaking:** Hand-harvested in 12 kg crates. At the winery, the grapes underwent a meticulous selection on a vibrating sorting table, then were destemmed with a light crushing of the berries. Fermentation in a stone lagar with foot treading.
