This “Rocim Grande” Reserva is a delightfully salty surprise, reminiscent of a long summer’s day in the Alentejo. The winemaker clearly let the fermentation find its own pace, resulting in toasted notes that evoke a traditional Portuguese pork belly (paio) and a remarkably persistent finish – a clear sign of quality, suggesting “Grandes Escolhas”. Perfect with a perfectly grilled fish, of course.
