This Arché from Herdade do Sobroso certainly seems to be a wine that takes itself very seriously – hand-picked grapes, almost as if they were precious jewels. The fermentation in French oak barrels, with temperature control so meticulous it’s practically a lab, suggests they weren't about to risk a single imperfection. Remarkably, it earned a fantastic 94 points from *Revista de Vinhos*, which describes a wine with a sunset hue, spice-laden aromas, and a freshness intense enough, apparently, to pair brilliantly with a generous portion of grilled fish with lemon.
