Herdade dos Grous The grapes of the Arinto variety, which make up this wine, were hand‑picked, highlighting an exceptional quality that hints at a wine with great potential. Wines from Herdade dos Grous display a strong personality that reflects the character of their terroir. Defined by the freshness and frankness of their fruit, the white wines boast a rich aromatic profile. Vinification: The grapes were kept overnight in a cold room at 8 °C. After this period, a manual selection is carried out before total de‑picking, followed by a gentle pressing of fresh grapes. The must was allowed to settle at low temperature for two days. Fermentation takes place in a concrete tank, where it is aged for six months “sur lies” and with “battonage”. This tank was chosen for its thermal stability, its preservation of the wine’s natural and neutral characteristics, and for maximizing thermal inertia thanks to its spherical shape. This wine pairs wonderfully with fish, shellfish and white meats, and is also well suited to accompany Asian cuisine.
