The Herdade dos Grous red wine is produced from the grape varieties Aragonês, Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional and Syrah. It is aged for 9 months in French oak barrels, giving it a fruity, complex character and a smooth structure. Rooted in the Alentejo landscape, Herdade dos Grous is located in Albernoa, 17 km from Beja, where the estate combines wine production, agro‑pastoral activities, rural tourism and enotourism. Alentejo, Portugal’s largest province, retains its traditional Portuguese charm and the Moura heritage, evident throughout its architecture. The continental climate with Mediterranean influences provides ideal conditions for producing excellent wines and other regional products of the highest quality. (Illustrative image only)
