The aromas of passionfruit, pear and lime dominate the olfactory profile, and on the palate it is refreshing and spicy, with distinctive grapefruit notes. Herdade dos Lagos, located in Vale de Açor de Cima and Vale de Camelos, Mértola, covers 1,000 hectares of pristine nature. Committed to sustainability, the current owners have adopted fully organic practices, using only products approved for organic agriculture, with the aim of minimizing chemical use and preserving soil, water and ecosystems. Thus they take advantage of Alentejo’s ideal conditions, with its vast untouched areas, to produce natural‑character wines and other products that allow one to fully enjoy the existing terroir.
