Casa Relvas is a family‑owned venture that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas. Its goal is to carry on a legacy that spans five generations, driven by a strong passion for the Alentejo and its authentic nature. Over the years the family has grown hand‑in‑hand with the business, and today the estate covers roughly 750 hectares of mixed forest, 225 hectares of olive groves, and 350 hectares of vineyards, all managed through integrated production. With its three estates—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about six million bottles of wine per year, 70 % of which are destined for the international market. The wines are sold in more than 30 countries worldwide, showcasing the best of the Alentejo. (Illustrative image only)
