Description

H.O white is produced from the Moscatel Galego grape variety, sourced from a selection of plots predominantly facing east, with schist and clay soils. It shows a lemon-yellow color with aromas of grapes, lychees, white flowers, and tropical fruits. On the palate it is fresh and light, with excellent persistence. H.O Wines is a brand that carries a magnificent Douro heritage into the future. Its terroir, the diversity of grape varieties, and the century-old vineyards planted on terraces with magnificent views are its treasures. Set within the centuries-old Quinta do Pontão da Cumieira, in Santa Marta de Penaguião, in the Douro Demarcated Region, it marks the starting point for a winemaking company that honors the Douro tradition. In 2021, it was acquired by Menin Wines with the aim of investing in the Douro and the wines produced there.
