Howard’s Folly Sonhador rosé is produced in the northeast of Alentejo, in Portalegre, near the granite outcrops of the Serra de São Mamede. It is in this range that cooler temperatures and ancient vines come together to create a wine of exquisite complexity and freshness. With complex aromas that evoke ripe wild berries, raspberry jam, and a hint of vanilla, the palate reveals its true character. A vibrant acidity and generous body captivate with a long, deep finish. Howard’s Folly is the result of an inspiring partnership between head winemaker David Baverstock and businessman Howard Bilton.
