Jaffelin produces this white wine from the grapes of Les Vergelesses, a Premier Cru in Savigny‑Les‑Beaune. The plot’s name comes from its proximity to an ancient Roman road that ran from Beaune to Vergy. After fermentation and 13 months of barrel ageing, the result is a silky, fruity, floral and mineral white wine, with pronounced acidity and toasted notes.
