The Marquês de Borba Reserva red is a powerful and elegant wine from the Alentejo, produced by João Portugal Ramos from a blend of the Alicante Bouschet, Aragonês, Cabernet Sauvignon and Trincadeira grape varieties, sourced from schist soils. With excellent aromatic concentration, it displays notes of red fruit, spices and stewed fruit. On the palate it is vigorous, with very firm tannins and a long, distinctive finish. Creating a wine is an art that, in Portugal, we have refined over centuries, today reinforced by greater knowledge and better resources.
