The Inspector Péringuey Chenin Blanc is a liquid tribute to Louis Albert Péringuey, the inspector who helped save the Cape’s vineyards from phylloxera in the 19th century. Made by Jordan winery in the heart of Stellenbosch, this monovarietal wine embodies the perfect blend of character and terroir. Its uniqueness comes from a carefully crafted batch: part of the wine ferments in stainless‑steel tanks to preserve its vibrant citrus freshness, while the remainder is aged for seven months on fine lees in fourth‑use Burgundy barrels. The result is an elegant Chenin Blanc with notes of white fruit and a pleasant creamy texture.
