Aware of the responsibility of being, today, the oldest producer of table wine and Moscatel de Setúbal in Portugal, José Maria da Fonseca follows a philosophy of continuous development, investing more and more in research and production support and combining the most modern techniques with traditional knowledge. A clear example is the José de Sousa Rosado Fernandes winery in Reguengos de Monsaraz, Alentejo, where the Roman tradition of fermenting in clay pots runs alongside the latest technology.
