Description

Julian Reynolds Viticulture and Enology: The grapes were harvested early in the morning and, after full de-stemming and gentle crushing, were pressed in a pneumatic press. The resulting must was clarified statically for 48 hours at low temperature. Fermentation lasted 30 days at 12 °C. Afterwards it was kept at 8 °C in stainless‑steel tanks until bottling. Not very chilled, it makes a perfect aperitif, especially when paired with fresh cheeses, seafood and all fish dishes. According to João Guedes in the 2021 harvest, Julian Reynolds Arinto is an “Alentejo wine from the Arinto grape, also known in the green wines and Bucelas, which tends to be very fresh and tropical… In the mouth it is fruity and super fresh. I give it 5 stars.”
