Born in the heart of Bairrada, this Kompassus from Magda Costa and Anselmo Mendes is a bold statement. Primarily Baga – a vine nearing 90 years old – it's elevated by a touch of Touriga Nacional, adding welcome complexity. Fermented *en masse* with carefully controlled temperature, and aged in 400L French oak barrels (new and used), it delivers a wonderfully smooth texture and vibrant freshness, perfectly expressing its unique terroir. Awarded 16.5 points from Grandes Escolhas, this wine presents aromas of wild berries and damp earth – a refined yet assertive expression, ideal for pairing with a succulent grilled fish or confit of duck.
