Description

This Cercial from Kompassus is a lovely tribute to the traditions of João Póvoa, a name already respected in the Bairrada since 1991. It’s a wine that really showcases the local red clay – you get those lovely mineral and citrus notes, alongside a subtle vegetal character thanks to careful grape skins contact. The barrel ageing – with batonnage – adds a welcome mouthfeel and impressive longevity. Absolutely brilliant with a delicate white fish or a touch of game.
