La Forge De Tart Tinto

This Burgundy Pinot Noir, from the La Forge De Tart vineyard, certainly experienced a rather unusual vintage. Following a promising April showing – complete with a frost scare thankfully averted – the grapes developed a remarkable concentration. The hot summers and subsequent dryness demanded meticulous vine management, but the result is a wine of robust structure and complex aromas. It’s a wine that, despite the challenges, manages to perfectly balance body and elegance; ideally paired with roasted poultry or a fine Iberian ham.
