Limited production wine made only from special vintages, La Prohibición is undoubtedly a collector’s gem, as very few reds are produced in Bierzo vineyards exclusively with the minor Garnacha Tintorera grape. Although it has a reputation for being a bit rustic, the partial use of ripe berries and new oak refines the wine, giving it an elegance that pleasantly surprises.
