This Ladeira da Santa rosé certainly put up a good fight against the heat – and emerged a surprisingly forceful character. Expect vibrant salmon hues with earthy terracotta notes reminiscent of the Dão’s terroir, alongside a beautiful nose of wild berries and pink citrus. The Touriga Nacional lends a welcome volume and freshness, balanced by the elegance of the Alfrocheiro. It’s a fantastic match for grilled meats or, frankly, a plate of perfectly cooked sardines.
