Quinta dos Aciprestes Quinta dos Aciprestes surrounds the Douro River with its gentle slopes, in an area completely replanted with the finest varieties of the Demarcated Douro Region. Situated between the sub‑regions of Cima-Corgo and Douro Superior, its vineyards benefit from a microclimate that provides ideal conditions for grape ripening. The Quinta dos Aciprestes Reserva is made from 60 % Touriga Nacional and blended with 40 % Touriga Franca, sourced from plots 15, 16, 17 and 18 of the estate. Fermentation takes place in small stainless‑steel vats, followed by a 12‑month aging period in French oak barrels. The Reserva of Quinta dos Aciprestes was born in 2003 with the ambition of showcasing the best the estate has to offer through a deeper understanding of our vineyard. By implementing precision viticulture, we are able to capture a better representation of the estate’s terroir and, consequently, produce higher‑quality wines.
