Lagoalva The long tradition of Quinta da Lagoalva as a wine producer dates back to 1888, when it showcased 600 cases of wine at the Portuguese Industry Exhibition. The white wine Lagoalva Reserva hails from 45 hectares of vines planted across the finest terroirs of the Tejo, using both national and international varieties whose enological qualities have been rigorously proven. The vines benefit from a modern cultivation system, and the cellar blends efficient vinification with a wide range of enological options, striking a balance between New‑World techniques and traditional European methods. **Vinification** The two varieties are vinified separately, with the blended batch produced later. Grapes harvested mechanically at night are pressed in a pneumatic press. After settling, Arinto ferments in stainless‑steel vats at 16 °C, while Chardonnay ferments at 18 °C in French oak barrels. Once fermentation is complete, the Chardonnay ages for four months in barrels with weekly bâtonnage. Enologists: Pedro Pinhão / Luís Paulino. **Allergen information** Contains sulfites.
