Lanzaga is the second wine in Telmo Rodríguez’s project in Rioja Alavesa. The Tempranillo grape, making up the logical majority, is complemented by Garnacha and Graciano from old vines in Lanciego de Álava. It is an authentic “vino de pueblo,” built on a detailed study of partnerships, altitudes, soils, and orientations over several years that converge into a single wine. In this project, Telmo’s work in organic viticulture stands out, along with his obsession to bottle the best terroirs with great diversity and a singular character.
