Founded in the early 1980s, Le Macchiole is one of Bolgheri’s historic wineries and has become a benchmark for quality Tuscan wine. Founders Eugenio Campolmi and Cinzia Merli were pioneers of the region, shaping Bolgheri’s growing reputation with wines brimming with personality that now define the area. Today Cinzia runs the business with the essential support of her sons Elia and Mattia, joined by a close-knit team of enthusiastic colleagues.
