Le Mortelle Vivia is a bright straw‑yellow white wine with greenish reflections. On the nose it is intense and pleasant, with aromas of white peaches, pineapple and lemon, complemented by lime‑flower notes. In the mouth it is creamy and mineral, finishing with a burst of fresh Mediterranean aromatic herbs and citrus fruit. Made from Vermentino, Ansonica and Viognier, it expresses the colours and aromas of the Maremma coast. The Antinori family has been making wine for over six centuries. In 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member of the *Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri*. Over its long history, spanning 26 generations, the family has always managed the business directly, making innovative—and sometimes bold—choices while always respecting tradition and the land. Fattoria Le Mortelle sits in the heart of Maremma, Tuscany, just a few kilometres from Castiglione della Pescaia, in a setting that is both remarkable and fascinating because of its nature and the history of the surrounding places. Since 1999 the family has worked both in the vineyards and in the new winery, convinced that this emerging area of the Italian wine scene is ideally suited for producing quality wines, where the terroir and the varieties grown can be expressed at their best. The estate covers 270 hectares, 170 of which are planted with vines. (Illustrative image)
