Born from vines planted way back in 1960, this Macaca Muda is a heartfelt tribute to the Aldeia da Muda and its unassuming winemaker, Filipe Rodrigues. It’s a wonderfully rustic blend – primarily Castelão and Baga, with a few carefully guarded additions from Filipe himself. Following a six-month maturation in French oak, the result is a surprisingly complex wine, undoubtedly captivating. Seriously, it pairs beautifully with a hearty black pork dish; the richness cuts through perfectly.
