This is a wonderfully spirited white – a true throwback from the granite slopes of the Douro. Harvested by hand before dawn, mirroring the historic "Gyrão" wine of 1822, the Alicante Bousín (as it’s now known) undergoes a fascinating fermentation, blending natural yeasts with carefully monitored inox. The result is a surprisingly complex wine, bursting with floral and citrus notes that linger delightfully on the palate, a testament to the resilience of this almost-lost grape. Seriously delicious with grilled seafood or crispy polenta cakes.
