This magnum from Herdade Grande is clearly a wine that’s enjoyed itself – and it shows. The deep colour hints at incredible maturity, while the nose immediately evokes the comforting aroma of homemade preserves. It’s a powerful wine with impressively firm tannins, beautifully balanced by a refreshing acidity that lingers beautifully on the palate. Seriously, this would be incredible with a perfectly grilled ribeye.
