This impressive Magnum from Quinta do Côtto, born from its ancient vines, certainly doesn’t pull any punches. The deep ruby colour hints at the complexity to come, revealing notes of spice – unmistakably Douro – alongside ripe red berries. On the palate, it’s a serious wine with beautifully integrated tannins and good structure, yet retains a refreshing vibrancy, culminating in a long, lingering finish. Seriously, this would be fantastic with a perfectly grilled beef steak.
