The deep ruby colour hints at the complexity to come, revealing notes of spice – unmistakably Douro – alongside ripe red berries. On the palate, it’s a serious wine with beautifully integrated tannins and good structure, yet retains a refreshing vibrancy, culminating in a long, lingering finish. Seriously, this would be fantastic with a perfectly grilled beef steak.
