Bottles of aged wines may show dust residues and damaged labels, which is normal for their age. The National Cellar is committed to storing all wines at the proper temperature and humidity, yet it always aims to preserve the visual character inherent to their age. We select brands and regions that, as a rule, exhibit distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we remind you that wine is a living organism that, even when sealed in a bottle, its aromas evolve over time. Therefore, the National Cellar cannot be held liable for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. We recommend opening the bottle and letting the wine breathe first, which will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed. If you decide to decant the wine before serving, do so patiently to detect the sediment that a typical old wine tends to produce. (illustrative image only)
